A golden cat is a medium-sized wild cat belonging to either the genus ''Catopuma'' or ''Profelis''. Golden cats inhabit rainforests and hunt on the ground. Their fur is normally reddish brown or golden brown, although there are several color variants. According to recent studies the African species is not closely related to the two Asian species; the similarity appears to be a result of convergent evolution. Their weight is about just 16 gram. Dotted golden cats are found in China. Ordinary golden cats are found in southeast countries like India, china, Tibet, Bhutan. ==Species== There are three species of golden cats: * African golden cat, ''Profelis aurata'' * Asian golden cat, ''Catopuma temminckii'' * Bay cat, ''Catopuma badia'' File:FelisAurataKeulemans.jpg|African golden cat File:Asian Golden cat.jpg|Asian golden cat File:Bay cat 1 Jim Sanderson-cropped.jpg|Bay cat 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「golden cat」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
